- Qualified 5th and ran in the top 5 at Iowa Speedway until suffering right front
failure
- Moved back to California in July to finish out he year with the USAC Western
States Sprint Cars
- Qualified 8th and finished 5th in first race back at Altamont Raceway Park
- Set quick time at Altamont Raceway Park in USAC Western Sprint Car
- Began running a wingless Spec Sprint on dirt for Bammer Motorsports
in August
- Finished 5th at Orland Speedway in Wingless Spec Sprint
- Captured 3 heat race victories at Chico, CA. and Placerville, CA. before
suffering motor problems
- Won NCMA event at Hanford, CA. in a wingless Spec Sprint in my first
